Pazl

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

Effective date: August 18, 2026. This Privacy Policy describes how Pazl LLC ("Pazl", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our websites, web applications, and mobile applications and games.

1. Who we are

The data controller is Pazl LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@pazl.ai.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the following products operated by Pazl LLC:

  • this website (products.pazl.ai);
  • our consumer web applications available in the browser;
  • our mobile games distributed through Google Play, including Synapse (package name com.synapse.link).

3. Data we collect

Depending on the product and how you use it, we collect:

  • Account information — data you provide when creating or using an account, such as your email address.
  • User content — content you create inside our applications, such as journal entries or uploaded photos.
  • Device information and identifiers — device model, operating system version, app version, language, and device or installation identifiers.
  • Diagnostics — crash reports, error logs, and performance data used to keep our products working.
  • Game data — game progress, saved games, achievements, and leaderboard scores.
  • Leaderboard entries — in Synapse, the global leaderboard stores an automatically generated, non-identifying nickname (for example, volt_fox_512) together with your score.
  • Advertising data — technical identifiers processed by Google AdMob to serve ads in Synapse, as described in the Advertising section below. We do not receive or store this data ourselves.
  • Purchase information — your in-app purchase history and transaction identifiers, where a product offers purchases. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers; payments are handled by the app stores or by our payment provider.
  • Support communications — messages you send us at hello@pazl.ai.

4. Data stored only on your device

Synapse stores game progress, in-game currencies and upgrades, records, settings, and the year of birth selected on the first-launch age screen locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to our servers; deleting the app or using "Reset progress" in the settings erases it.

5. Google Play Games Services

Synapse uses Google Play Games Services for sign-in, achievements, and leaderboards. When you sign in with your Google Play Games profile, the app receives your Play Games player ID and your public player profile — your gamer tag and avatar.

We use this information solely to sign you in, save and restore your game progress, unlock achievements, and display leaderboards. We do not sell this information and do not share it with third parties, except as necessary to operate these features through Google.

Google processes Play Games data under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can manage or delete your Google Play Games profile through your Google account settings.

6. Advertising in Synapse (Google AdMob)

Synapse shows only optional rewarded video ads: they start after your explicit tap and give an in-game bonus. Ads are served by Google AdMob. To select and serve ads and to prevent fraud, Google may process a resettable device advertising identifier (adults only), IP address, device model and OS version, language, country, and ad interaction data (shown, completed, clicked). We do not receive or store this data ourselves.

For adults, iOS shows the system App Tracking Transparency dialog; declining keeps ads but makes them non-personalized. In the EEA and UK a Google-certified consent form (UMP) is shown, and your choice can be changed at any time via the ad privacy settings inside the game. For children, personalized advertising is disabled entirely — see the Children section below.

Synapse contains no analytics SDKs and no crash-reporting SDKs. Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. How Google uses ad data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy

Synapse's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

8. How we use data and legal bases

We use the data described above to:

  • provide and operate our products, including saving your progress and content (legal basis: performance of a contract);
  • process purchases and maintain purchase records (performance of a contract; legal obligation);
  • provide customer support (performance of a contract);
  • diagnose crashes, prevent abuse and cheating, and keep our products secure and stable (legitimate interests);
  • comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules (legal obligation);
  • where a use requires your consent under applicable law, we rely on that consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

9. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the following categories of recipients:

  • Google — when you use a game distributed through Google Play: app distribution, Google Play billing for in-app purchases, Google Play Games Services, and Google AdMob advertising as described above.
  • dreamlo (dreamlo.com) — the scoreboard service that stores the Synapse global leaderboard: an automatically generated nickname and score only. Resetting your progress generates a new nickname and permanently unlinks the previous entry.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements.
  • Our payment provider, for purchases made in our web applications.
  • Public authorities, where we are legally required to disclose data.
  • A successor entity, if Pazl LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case this policy continues to apply to your data.

10. Data retention

We keep account data and user content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we complete deletion within 30 days, after which residual copies are removed from backups on the normal backup rotation cycle.

Purchase and transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, even after account deletion. Diagnostic and crash data is kept only for the limited period needed to investigate and fix problems.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data-protection supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@pazl.ai. To delete your account and data, you can also follow the steps on our Data Deletion page at https://products.pazl.ai/data-deletion. We respond to requests within 30 days.

12. Children

Synapse is designed to be appropriate for all ages: it contains no violence, profanity, gambling, chats, or user-generated content. On first launch the game shows a neutral age screen and asks for a year of birth. The year is used exclusively on the device to configure advertising for the correct age group and is not transmitted anywhere.

If the user is a child (under 13, or under the applicable age of digital consent in their country), ads are requested in child-directed mode (COPPA tagForChildDirectedTreatment) with content rating G only, ad personalization is disabled (tagForUnderAgeOfConsent), no tracking permission is requested on iOS, and all ads are served by Google AdMob, a network certified for the Google Play Families Ads Program.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child’s personal information has reached us in any way, contact hello@pazl.ai and we will delete it immediately.

13. International data transfers

Pazl LLC is based in the United States, and data is processed in the United States and in other countries where our infrastructure providers operate. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with its "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we will give notice in the affected product or by email before it takes effect.
