Account & Data Deletion

1. How to submit a deletion request

Send an email to hello@pazl.ai with the subject "Data deletion request". In the email, tell us:

• which product the request is about (for example, Synapse);
• for Synapse: your Google Play Games gamer tag or player ID, so we can find your data;
• for web applications: the email address of your account.

2. What we delete

When we process your request, we delete the data we hold about you, including:

• your account and profile information;
• game progress, saved games, achievements, and leaderboard entries stored on our servers;
• user content you created in our applications;
• device identifiers and diagnostic data linked to your account.

3. What we keep, and for how long

Some records are kept after deletion, only where we have a legal reason to:

• purchase and transaction records — for as long as tax and accounting laws require;
• a record of your deletion request itself, so we can show it was fulfilled;
• data we need to retain to prevent fraud or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, for as long as strictly necessary.

4. Processing time

We confirm receipt of your request by email and complete deletion within 30 days. Residual copies in backups are removed on the normal backup rotation cycle after that. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner before deleting.

5. Synapse data stored on your device

Synapse stores game progress, in-game currencies, records, and settings locally on your device. Deleting the app or using "Reset progress" in the game settings erases them — no request to us is needed. The global leaderboard stores only an automatically generated, non-identifying nickname and a score; resetting your progress generates a new nickname and permanently unlinks the previous entry.

6. Data held by Google

Sign-in, achievements, and leaderboards in Synapse use Google Play Games Services. Data held by Google — such as your Google Play Games profile — is controlled by Google and is not deleted by our process. You can manage or delete your Play Games profile through your Google account settings; see Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
